Marked the start of another promising chapter in the book of the Indian Society for Universal Dialogue, on the 13th of August 2025, we warmly opened its doors to the newest members of the School of Excellence in Law through the Freshers’ Orientation Program, marking the beginning of an inspiring journey for the academic year 2025–2026. The event, held in the auditorium, set the stage for first-year students to discover the ethos, vision, and intellectual spirit that define ISUD.

 

The morning began with a heartfelt welcome address that filled the hall with enthusiasm and anticipation. Words of encouragement and wisdom resonated as speakers emphasized the value of dialogue, reason, and open-minded debate — the cornerstones of ISUD’s philosophy.

A captivating introduction to the society followed, where the theme “India @ 100” took centre stage, exploring the role of youth in shaping the nation’s future through thoughtful discourse and diverse perspectives. A short video presentation gave the audience a glimpse into ISUD’s vibrant legacy and its dynamic initiatives that nurture analytical and expressive minds.

 

Energy rose as the program transitioned into an engaging, interactive session led by the members of the society. With thought-provoking games and discussions, freshers were encouraged to speak freely, challenge ideas, and experience the essence of ISUD — a space where every voice matters. The innovation in their idea and confidence in their voice excited everyone with a hope of promising talents – like raw uncut diamonds waiting to be polished!

 

The event also introduced upcoming opportunities such as the Freshers’ Debate and Freshers’ Blog Competition, motivating the newcomers to sharpen their critical thinking and public speaking skills while embracing the culture of intellectual curiosity that ISUD stands for.

The program drew to a close with a warm vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all faculty members, coordinators, and participants who contributed to the day’s success.
